NASA has awarded a contract to Chenega Global Protection LLC of Chantilly, Virginia, an 8(a) small business, to provide protective services at the agency’s Johnson Space Center in Houston, White Sands Testing Facility and White Sands Complex in Las Cruces, New Mexico, Kennedy Space Center in Florida, Marshall Space Flight Center in Huntsville, Alabama, Michoud Assembly Facility in New Orleans, and Stennis Space Center near Bay St. Louis, Mississippi.

 

The firm, fixed-price, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity NASA Protective Services Contract – South Region (NPSC-SR) begins Dec. 1, with a 22-month base period followed by three one-year options, which, if exercised, would extend the contract through Sept. 30, 2026. The contract, including options has a maximum total value of  $253,563,974.

 

NPSC-SR will provide protective services, including physical security operations; information security and communications security; emergency management, protective services communication center operations; facility security assessment; identity credential access management; identity management and personnel security; vehicle management; and NASA protective services training.
