The Faith Academy Knights hosted the Oaks Adventist of Cypress on Tuesday January 30, 2018. Falling to the Oaks by the score of 53-29, the Knight continued to battle. The Knights leading scorers were Pierce Newcomb with 18 and Cameron Crawford with 7. Leading the Knights in rebounding were Crawford with 8 and Nathan Taake with 7.
On Friday February 2, the Knights traveled to Kingwood to play district leaders Covenant Preparatory Knights. With two starters out, the Knights never quit. They fought till the end, losing 74-9. Leading the scoring was Roy Shepherd with 3 points and Taylor Hetzel with 2 points. Nathan Taake grabbed 8 rebounds and Crawford grabbed 7.
