Brianna Gallaher a junior at Faith Academy has run two 5k’s in the past 2 weeks. She ran the Modern Woodmen Financial 5K Freedom Run benefiting Adult and Teen Challenge of Texas. ATCOT’s mission is to bring freedom to those struggling with addiction. The race was held at Burroughs Park in Tomball, Saturday January 27. She was the 1st place finisher Overall with a time of 21:43.
This past Saturday she competed in the 5k division of the Katy Half Marathon which was held at Katy Mills Mall. She was 1st place in her age group 15 – 19 with a time of 21:02 and 11th place overall running against 350 runners. Brianna will open her Track season at the Seven Lakes Meet on February 17th in Katy. She will compete in the 5000 and 1600.
