UTILITY WORKER-GAS : The City of Sealy Gas Department is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Utility Worker I to perform duties essential in operating and maintaining the City’s gas distribution system. This is an entry level apprentice position in the gas department and will require some meter reading and public contact, strenuous physical work outdoors and some after-hours work. Minimum qualifications include: High School diploma or GED; a valid Texas Driver License and an acceptable driving record; must be able to get Operator Qualified within 6 months. Hourly salary range is: $15.76 to $18.54 (negotiable with experience). Applicants interested in this position must submit a completed application to the Human Resources office. EOE.
