Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented I.V. Certified Compounding Pharmacy Technician to join our healthcare team for the PM shift. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the pharmacy department by ensuring the safe and effective compounding of sterile medications under the supervision of a pharmacist. This position requires strong knowledge of aseptic techniques, and attention to details. The Certified Pharmacy Technician will work closely with pharmacists and healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient service.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and compound medications accurately under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
  • Assist in IV infusion preparation and ensure adherence to aseptic techniques.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and medication profiles.
  • Provide critical care support by assisting with medication management for patients in acute care settings.
  • Collaborate with pharmacy staff to ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and company policies.
  • Participate in inventory management, including ordering, receiving, and restocking medications as needed.
  • Perform any other job duties assigned.

Qualifications

  • Experience in sterile compounding a plus.
  • Proficiency in aseptic technique for IV infusion preparation is highly desirable.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team while maintaining a high level of professionalism.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills are essential for success in this role.

Requirements

  • PM Shift | 1:00pm-11:30pm | Four 10-Hour Shifts | Overtime Opportunities
  • Registered Pharmacy Technician License in Texas
  • IV Sterile Certification
  • PTCB Certification
