Description
Join Western International Gas & Cylinders as a Process Operator in Bellville. The initial schedule is Monday–Friday, 8 a.m.–4:30 p.m.
What you'll do
- Monitor filling and discharging of bulk acetylene trailers at Western and customer sites via HMI.
- Coordinate with Western’s distribution team to schedule trailer deliveries and maintain plant operations and gas delivery logbooks.
- Assist the maintenance department with troubleshooting various plant equipment at multiple sites.
- Follow applicable standard operating procedures, perform duties safely, and report unsafe conditions.
What you'll bring
- High school diploma, basic math skills, and proficient computer skills.
- Strong communication skills, good phone etiquette, and the ability to read, write, and speak English professionally.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds, sit for extended periods, and climb and balance safely on commercial trailers.
- Ability to work extended shifts and hear in a noisy background.
Pay: $20.00–$24.00
