Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Paramedic to join our emergency medical services team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in emergency medicine, patient assessment, and critical care transport, with a commitment to providing exceptional pre-hospital care. As a Paramedic, you will be responsible for delivering prompt, professional medical assistance in diverse environments, ensuring patient safety and comfort while adhering to established protocols and standards.

Shifts Available: 12s/24/s36s/48s/72s

Earn up to $ 146,432

Responsibilities

  • Provide advanced emergency medical care to patients in pre-hospital settings, including trauma, medical emergencies, and urgent care situations.
  • Conduct thorough patient assessments, including vital signs, physical examinations, and physiological evaluations to determine appropriate treatment plans.
  • Manage airway techniques and perform airway management procedures to ensure adequate respiration and oxygenation.
  • Administer medications via injection or other methods in accordance with medical protocols and physician directives.
  • Operate emergency vehicles safely while adhering to traffic laws and driving regulations; perform heavy lifting when necessary during patient extrication or equipment handling.
  • Utilize critical care skills such as venipuncture, medication administration, and aseptic techniques to stabilize patients for transport.
  • Collaborate with hospital staff during patient handoff at Level I Trauma Centers or other specialized facilities, ensuring seamless continuity of care.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of all patient interactions, treatments administered, and vital signs in compliance with regulatory standards.

Skills

  • Extensive experience in critical care environments, including hospital settings such as emergency rooms or intensive care units.
  • Proficiency in triage procedures and prioritization of multiple patients based on severity of condition.
  • Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, and emergency medicine protocols.
  • Skilled in airway management techniques, vital signs monitoring, and advanced patient assessment methods.
  • Experience with DME (durable medical equipment) use and maintenance for patient stabilization.
  • Ability to perform physical examinations accurately and efficiently under pressure.
  • Familiarity with Level II trauma center operations and procedures; experience at Level I Trauma Centers is highly desirable.
  • Competence in driving emergency vehicles safely over varied terrains while managing heavy lifting tasks during rescue operations.

Pay: $30.00 - $32.00 per hour

Experience:

  • Energy management systems: 3 years (Preferred)

License/Certification:
