The City of Industry has installed new, upgraded security cameras in and around City Park as part of its continued commitment to community safety and quality of life.

The cameras monitor key areas of the park, including the walking trail, playground areas, pickleball and tennis courts, and parking lots. These upgrades are intended to help deter unwanted activity, support investigations if needed, and provide added peace of mind for residents and visitors who use the park.

Industry is known as a safe, small town, and city officials say these improvements are designed to help keep it that way. While no community is ever 100% crime-free, visible security measures can discourage individuals who may be looking to cause trouble and help ensure the park remains a welcoming space for everyone.

For families, monitored playground and recreation areas offer reassurance while children play. For individuals and couples who enjoy walking or exercising on the trails, especially during early morning or evening hours, the added security can make park visits more comfortable.

While cameras can help deter certain behaviors, personal awareness remains the most effective safety tool. Being alert, staying aware of surroundings, and reporting suspicious activity when appropriate can prevent incidents before they occur.

The City of Industry encourages residents to continue enjoying City Park while looking out for one another and helping maintain a safe, beautiful park for the entire community.
