The Brazos Cougars Boys Varsity Basketball had a strong showing on Tuesday, as they defeated the Hempstead Bobcats in an away conference game with a final score of 66-43. The win brings the Cougars’ overall record to 10-7, and they currently stand at 4-0 in District play.

The Cougars have been performing well this season, and are currently ranked 886th in Texas and 107th in their state division. This strong performance is a testament to the hard work and dedication of the team, as well as the coaching staff.

The Cougars had a strong start to the game, with the defense putting pressure on the Bobcats and the offense executing their plays effectively. This combination proved to be too much for the Bobcats to handle, and the Cougars were able to pull away and secure the victory.

The team’s next game will be against Hitchcock on January 17th, and the Cougars will look to continue their winning ways and secure another victory. With their strong performance so far this season, the team is poised to make a deep run in the playoffs and potentially bring a championship to their school and community.  The community can look forward to cheering them on as they continue to compete and bring their best efforts to the court in the coming games.
