The Blinn College men’s basketball team’s season came to a close Thursday with a 64-56 loss to Lee College in the quarterfinal round of the Region XIV Tournament in Baytown, Texas.
The Buccaneers’ concluded the year with a 17-14 record.
Blinn found itself in a hole in the first half as the Navigators built a 41-20 halftime advantage. The Bucs fought back after the intermission and cut Lee’s lead down to six with less than 7 minutes remaining, but the Navigators held on for the win.

Sophomoreย Anthony Isaacย tallied his 16th double-double of the season with 14 points and 19 rebounds, and sophomore guardย Reese Millerย also poured in 14 points. Freshmen guardsย Jakeel Registeย andย Dashawn Ceaserย added nine and seven points, respectively. Sophomore guardย Jaden Andrewย had six assists.
Blinn has competed in intercollegiate athletics since 1903 and captured 49 national championships since 1987.
