Three Blinn College sophomore men’s basketball players were recently recognized with all-Region XIV team selections.
Leading the trio of Buccaneers was first-team selection and second-year forward .
Isaac was named to the first team for a second time after averaging 14.6 points, 11.4 rebounds, and 3.7 assists per game. Against region opponents, Isaac pushed his averages to 15.5 points, 12.5 rebounds, and 3.95 assists. Isaac finished second in the nation in rebounding.
Second-team honorees were guard Reese Miller and forward London Maiden.

Miller, a second-year Buc, led Blinn with 14.7 points per contest and added 3.1 assists. He also shot an impressive 42% from 3-point range. In region play, Miller registered 15 points per outing.
In his lone season at Blinn, Maiden was a key member of the Bucs’ lineup as he tallied 11.4 points and 6.2 rebounds. Maiden scored at a clip of 12.3 points with 6.1 rebounds against region foes.
The Bucs finished their season 17-14 and 13-9 in region play, and earned the fourth seed in the Region XIV Tournament.
Blinn has competed in intercollegiate athletics since 1903 and captured 50 national championships since 1987.
