The Blinn College – Sealy campus students and their families are invited to a free, family-friendly festival that will connect students with faculty and peers and prepare them for success.

The “Welcome Back Fish Fry” will be held Sept. 3 from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on the Sealy campus located at 3701 Outlet Mall Drive. Admission is free and open to the This is a prime spot for your adpublic. It is hosted by Blinn College Student Leadership & Activities and will serve as a new student orientation.

Faculty and staff will provide students with information about academic and health
resources. Local businesses, including Wells Fargo and Sam’s Club, will be on hand to disseminate information and offer giveaways.

Two outstanding students will also be awarded scholarships from a fundraising event held in the Spring.

“Our goal is to ensure student success by letting them know what resources are available to them,” said Sealy campus Director Lisa Caton. “It’s also a way for students to get to know one another and the faculty and staff at Blinn.”
