The Bellville FFA took part in the 2023 San Antonio Stock Show, which is a showcase of some of the best livestock, agricultural products, and livestock judging competitions in the country sending several teams to compete. The Floral team placed 6th overall, while the Nursery/Landscape team placed 7th overall. Lauren Lassus, a member of the Bellville FFA, earned the distinction of being the 5th high individual in the competition.

The Bellville FFA also competed in dairy cattle, horse judging, and poultry competitions, with the dairy cattle team placing 11th and 34th overall, the horse judging team placing 32nd and 34th overall, and the poultry team placing 22nd overall. These results are a testament to the hard work and dedication of the Bellville FFA members and their advisors.

The San Antonio Stock Show is an excellent opportunity for agricultural students to showcase their knowledge and skills, as well as to learn from other students and professionals in the field. The show features a wide range of livestock and agricultural exhibitions, including cattle, swine, goats, sheep, poultry, and rabbits. Additionally, there are a variety of educational exhibits and events, including seminars, demonstrations, and workshops on topics ranging from animal health to sustainable agriculture.

For the Bellville FFA, participating in the San Antonio Stock Show is an important part of their agricultural education. The program places a strong emphasis on leadership development and community involvement, and competing in events such as the San Antonio Stock Show allows students to hone their skills and develop important relationships with their peers and industry professionals.
