Deputy Constable Maher Husseini was tragically shot in his vehicle in Houston.

During the week from Monday, August 19, 2024 to Sunday, August 25, 2024 the Austin County Jail saw a number of individuals being booked.

Deputies from multiple agencies successfully apprehended a suspect who led them on a high-speed chase through Austin County and into a wooded area.

During the week from Monday, August 12, 2024 to Sunday, August 18, 2024 the Austin County Jail saw a number of individuals being booked.
