Austin County will be getting a new 4-H Agent in the very near future.  Donnie Montemayor, director of District 11 for the Southeast Region was on hand at Monday’s commissioner’s court meeting to introduce the new agent.  Crystal Schibler will assuming the duties of the 4-H program in Austin County.  She is a graduate of Texas A&M University with livestock judging background.  She currently resides in Waco but, she and her husband Kory are looking to relocate to our area very shortly.  As part of her first step program she will begin her training in Bosque County for two weeks and then will move to Washington County for another two weeks before finally assuming her duties on December 14th of this year here in Austin County.
