Austin County teams all battled Friday night against various teams.  The games are all pre-district games.  Pre-district games are essential to the rankings of the teams each win or loss moves the team up or down in state rankings for the season. The Bellville Brahmas and the Sealy Tigers met Friday at Tiger Stadium.  The Brahmas topped the Tigers in a 16-2 victory. This moved the Tigers state rank down 40 to the rank of 455 and the Brahmas rank moved up 121 to 227 Next week the Tigers will meet the Giddings Buffaloes in Giddings. The Brahmas will meet Bay City in Bellville. At the end of week four stats for the Brahmas 3-1-0 and the Tigers 1-3-0. The Brazos Cougars lost to Rice Consolidated 57-22 moving their state ranking to 603.  Next week the Cougars will meet Brookshire Royal at the Royal Falcons stadium.
