The Blinn College footballย teamย has made an addition to its schedule.ย
The Buccaneers will faceย Transformationย Withย Athletics (TWA)ย College at 7 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 15, at Cub Stadium in Brenham.?TWA is a college prep academy based in Austin.ย
The game will take the place of a scheduled bye week for Blinn andย willย return its schedule to nine games.ย The Bucs were set for a season-opening contest against Louisiana Community Christianย (LCC)ย on Aug. 26, but the game was canceled after LCC withdrew due to a lack of players.ย
Blinn’s season willย nowย open when it hosts Gordon Prep at 7 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 2, at Cub Stadium.ย
Blinn has competed in intercollegiate athletics since 1903 and captured 44 NJCAA national championships since 1987.
