The fourth-ranked Buccaneers defeated Hocking College 2-0 to improve to 5-1 in NJCAAE play.
Competing for Blinn were Braden Nardecchia, Devin Jennings, Jacob Pullen, Wallace Koening, and Jaxson Barfknecht. The Bucs earned the victory by scores of 13-7 and 13-8.
“We picked up another clean win tonight, and while not as dominant as previous weeks, it was still solid and moves us into sole possession of second place in our group with one week left before the playoffs,” Blinn head coach Aaron Kapiko said. “We are looking forward to the playoffs and our potential to bring home our first national championship.”
The Buccaneer Valorant team returns to play when it faces Long Beach City College at 6 p.m. on Thursday, March 30. The Blinn Overwatch squad will face North Dakota State College of Science at 4 p.m. on Friday, March 24.
Blinn has competed in intercollegiate athletics since 1903 and captured 42 NJCAA national championships since 1987.
