On January 13th, the Sealy Tigers girls varsity basketball team faced off against the Brookshire Royal Falcons in an away conference game. Unfortunately, the Tigers were unable to come out on top, losing with a final score of 58-47. The game was played in front of a large crowd.

The first quarter of the game was closely contested, with Sealy scoring 9 points and the Falcons scoring 10. In the second quarter, the scoring was similarly tight, with Sealy putting up 11 points and the Falcons scoring 10. At halftime, the score was tied at 20-20.

However, in the third quarter, the tide began to turn in favor of the Falcons. They outscored Sealy 25-12 in the third quarter, giving them a comfortable lead heading into the final quarter. Sealy fought hard in the fourth quarter, scoring 15 points to the Falcons’ 13, but it wasn’t enough to close the gap.

With this loss, Sealy’s overall record now stands at 16-12, with a win percentage of 0.57. In district play, they are 4-1, currently sitting in third place. Their home record is 5-2, away record is 4-4 and neutral games record is 7-6. In the state, Sealy is ranked 629th and 84th in their division.
