The Faith Academy Knights hosted the Oaks Adventist of Cypress on Tuesday January 30, 2018. Falling to the Oaks by the score of 53-29, the Knight continued to battle.ย The Knights leading scorers were Pierce Newcomb with 18 and Cameron Crawford with 7.ย Leading the Knights in rebounding were Crawford with 8 and Nathan Taake with 7.
On Friday February 2, the Knights traveled to Kingwood to play district leaders Covenant Preparatory Knights.ย With two starters out, the Knights never quit. ย They fought till the end, losing 74-9.ย ย Leading the scoring was Roy Shepherd with 3 points and Taylor Hetzel with 2 points.ย Nathan Taake grabbed 8 rebounds and Crawford grabbed 7.ย
