Description
Join Western International Gas & Cylinders as a Production Technician in Bellville. Training is provided to help you understand the position and department responsibilities.
What you'll do
- Identify hazards associated with various gases and understand cylinder sizes and contents.
- Inspect customers’ cylinders and handle them safely in compliance with standard operating procedures.
What you'll bring
- High school diploma or GED and 0–1 years of work experience.
- Strong attention to detail, basic computer skills, English reading comprehension, writing skills, and ability to perform mathematical exercises.
- Ability to work independently under some deadline pressure and with people of varied personalities.
- Ability to work extended shifts and/or weekends in a non-climate-controlled environment.
- Ability to roll or lift 75-pound cylinders and stand for extended periods.
- Ability to frequently lift and carry 50 pounds, frequently push with 200 pounds of force, and rarely pull with 200 pounds of force.
Pay: $22.00–$24.00 per hour
