The Blinn College Buccaneer Band will bring music to the football field and concert stage throughout the fall 2026 semester with a schedule that includes halftime performances, marching competition, chamber music, jazz and holiday favorites.

The fall performance schedule includes:

Buccaneer Band Alumni Day — Sept. 19 at 7 p.m.
Brenham High School’s Cub Stadium, 1600 E. Tom Green St. in Brenham

Former Buccaneer Band members will join the current band for a halftime performance featuring music by Billy Joel during the Blinn College football game against Navarro College.

51st Buccaneer Marching Festival — Sept. 26
Cub Stadium

The all-day festival will feature preliminary and final competitions for bands in classifications 1A through 4A. Bands in classifications 5A and 6A may participate as non-competing bands and receive critiques and recordings of their preliminary performances.

Admission is $5 for spectators and free for children ages 12 and younger.

Buccaneer Band-Blinn Choir Karaoke Day — Oct. 3 at 7 p.m.
Cub Stadium

The Blinn Choir and Buccaneer Marching Band will perform together during halftime of the Buccaneers’ football game against Snow College. The program will include crowd favorites such as Sweet Caroline, Take Me Home, Country Roads, YMCA and Don’t Stop Believin’.

Chamber Ensembles — Dec. 2 at 7 p.m.
Dr. W.W. O’Donnell Performing Arts Center, 600 Blinn Boulevard on the Brenham Campus

Admission is free.

Jazz Ensemble — Dec. 3 at 7 p.m.
O’Donnell Performing Arts Center

Admission is free.

Symphonic Band — Dec. 4 at 7 p.m.

Sounds of the Season — Dec. 5 at 3 p.m.
Festival Hill, 248 Jaster Road in Round Top

Blinn’s Wind Symphony and combined choirs will present a holiday program inside Festival Hill’s historic 800-seat concert hall. Tickets are $10 and are available at www.blinn.edu/boxoffice.

Percussion Ensemble — Dec. 7 at 7 p.m.
O’Donnell Performing Arts Center

Admission is free.

The Buccaneer Band is part of Blinn College’s Music Department, which offers an Associate of Arts degree on the Brenham Campus and performance opportunities for music majors and students pursuing other fields of study.

Students may participate in band, choir, chamber ensembles, individual performances, composition and other musical programs.
