Position: Elementary Teacher In planning for the 26-27 school year, Faith Academy is looking for elementary-level teachers who are able to teach a range of grades within our school. Each position would be selected to a grade determined upon experience and staffing needs. Our teachers make a priority of high academic achievement and character development of every child in their classroom. Teachers are responsible for guiding and assisting students in their entire learning experience. Job Responsibilities ● Demonstrate outstanding classroom management that relies on positive reinforcement with high expectations, clear and consistent classroom systems, and procedures ● The teacher is responsible for writing and implementing lessons that are engaging and effective according to student data ● Create and maintain positive and collaborative relationships with families, including consistent communication ● Assess and evaluate student growth, making plans on a class-wide, group wide, and individual basis in response to student data ● Implement critical thinking through biblical integration in the classroom ● Demonstrate dedication and determination for student growth and success that is measurable Requirements ● Passionate alignment: Knows and loves the organization and mission. Excited about the vision of the school ● Must have a current bachelor’s degree with Teaching Certification ● If a current state certification is not available, candidates must be willing to obtain ACSI Teaching Certification.
