Bellville Hospital Foundation Holds Townhall Meeting [VIDEO]

The Bellville Hospital Foundation along with ERH Healthcare and TRG hosted a Townhall Meeting Monday night at the Bellville High School Auditorium.  The townhall focused on the future of the hospital in light of CHI, the current managing company, terminating their lease agreement.  CHI’s management officially ends on May 7, 2019, leaving the status of the Bellville Hospital in question.

California’s Background Check Law Had No Impact on Gun Deaths, Johns Hopkins Study Finds

A joint study conducted by researchers at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health and the University of California at Davis Violence Prevention Research Program found that California’s much-touted mandated background checks had no impact on gun deaths, and researchers are puzzled as to why. The findings—which run counter to the conventional wisdom that gun control saves lives—have received almost no media attention.
