The Waller County Sheriff’s Office posted on their social media about a drug deal between juveniles and umpires at a local baseball park.  Their post was as follows:

Today units responded to a call at a local baseball park in regards to two juveniles and two adults involved in a drug deal.  It was learned that parents and off duty officers working a baseball game witnessed and recorded two juveniles and two umpires exchanging THC vape pens.  The off duty officers detained all individuals involved and they were subsequently taken into custody by our deputies.  It was later found that one of the umpires was also in possession of methamphetamine.  Charges are being filed against all parties involved.

THC is a penalty group 2 controlled substance in Texas. Possession of ANY amount is a felony.
