The Sealy girls powerlifting team had a successful competition at Waller High School on January 25th, with half of the team competing for the first time. Despite the challenges that come with competing for the first time, the team rose to the occasion and put on an impressive display of strength and determination.

In the 97 lb class, Jenna Kollmann took first place with a solid performance that showed her dedication and training. Mariah Torres also took first place in the 105 lb class, demonstrating her mastery of the sport.

The 123 lb class saw strong performances from Lacie Perez, who placed second, and Izzie Pittillo, who came in third. In the 148 lb class, Jada Burton took second place and Haven Hmielewski placed third. Vanity Jackson rounded out the top five in fifth place.

Antreece Coleman dominated the 165 lb class, taking first place with ease. Lilli Stone also took first place in the 181 lb class, while Lily Walts came in third.

In the 198 lb class, Mason Infante took first place and Annabel Navarro came in second. Miranda Trejo placed second in the 220 lb class, rounding out a strong performance from the team.
