Press Release From Austin County Sheriff

On 10/30/2014, at approx. 10:07 AM, a male person reported to the Austin County Court house in Bellville TX to attend a hearing concerning his probation status for a misdemeanor crime. When the male person was advised that a warrant for arrest was being issued on him he then jumped out of the jury box, ran down the stairs and out of the front door of the courthouse and at that time he was unable to be located. Shortly after that a warrant of arrest was issued for misdemeanor escape for that male person.
