The Sealy, TX Chamber of Commerce hosted Mattress Mack as their guest speaker for their January 3, 2024 Lunch & Learn held held at the Sealy American Legion. For those who don’t know, Mattress Mack is a legendary figure in the world of furniture sales and a beloved philanthropist. Born as James Franklin McIngvale, he’s the owner of Gallery Furniture, a successful chain of stores in Houston, Texas. Known for his energetic sales pitches and signature catchphrase, “Saves you money!”, Mack has become an icon in the Lone Star State and beyond.

But it’s not just about the furniture for Mack. He’s also a generous soul who has given back to the community in countless ways. After Hurricane Harvey, he opened his stores to displaced storm victims, providing shelter and support to those in need.
