The Bluebonnet Master Gardener Association, in partnership with the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service, is proud to announce Kids’ Kamp 2025! This event is in its eighth consecutive year. The summer program will be hosted in Washington, Colorado, and Austin Counties and is designed to educate youth ages 10 to 13 through fun, hands-on activities focused on gardening, nature, and community engagement.
Each three-day session of Kids’ Kamp 2025 runs Tuesday through Thursday from 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon. This year’s activities include exploring soil life by working with worms, studying the good, bad, and ugly sides of fungi, identifying native and invasive plant species, and designing and painting ceramic pots to take home, complete with a native plant. Campers will also enjoy clay crafts to decorate home gardens, create art to frame, and receive daily snacks.
