The Brookwood Community is seeking a Vice President of Enterprises in Brookshire, reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer. This senior leadership role combines business stewardship with Brookwood’s faith-centered mission supporting adults with disabilities.
What you'll do
- Direct the Café, Store, Horticulture Division, and associated online, wholesale, and corporate order operations.
- Guide enterprise operations toward disciplined break-even performance within a zero-cost-basis stewardship culture.
- Develop elevated dining options, stronger retail experiences, and new mission-aligned revenue streams that expand Brookwood’s reach.
What you'll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, nonprofit management, operations, or a related field; master’s degree strongly preferred.
- At least ten years of progressive leadership experience, including five years in a senior role with P&L accountability.
- Experience preferably within mission-driven or faith-based organizations, social enterprise, retail, food service, or hospitality.
- Demonstrated success strengthening business units toward financial sustainability while expanding their reach and impact.
- Strong financial acumen, including budgeting, margin analysis, pricing strategy, and KPI-driven performance management.
- Proven ability to build, coach, and inspire cross-functional teams through significant organizational change.
- Excellent communication skills, including translating complex operational and financial data for executive leadership, Board members, and diverse stakeholders.
