About Our Practice

We are a dedicated, patient-centered optometry clinic located in Sealy, TX. Our mission is to bring world-class medical eye care to our local community. We have established a unique partnership with a world-renowned cataract surgeon in Houston. We introduce patients to this top-tier surgeon for their procedure, but we handle all pre-operative and post-operative aftercare right here at our local office. This model saves elderly patients from making multiple stressful, long-distance trips through heavy Houston traffic.

Job Summary

We are seeking a results-driven, part-time Social Media Marketing Specialist to build local awareness and drive patient inquiries. Your primary goal will be to design and manage hyper-local Facebook and Instagram advertising campaigns that educate our community about our hassle-free cataract care model.

Key Responsibilities

  • Targeted Meta Campaigns: Set up and manage Meta ad campaigns optimized for two specific local audiences: Seniors (aged 55+) and their adult children/caregivers (aged 35–54) within our local mileage radius.
  • Ad Creative & Copywriting: Write highly empathetic, trustworthy ad copy. Create clean, professional visual assets (using Canva or provided office photos) that highlight our "Houston Surgery, Local Aftercare" value proposition.
  • Budget Optimization: Monitor daily ad performance to maximize our monthly ad spend ($300–$500), ensuring we reach the maximum number of local residents without wasting budget.
  • Tracking & Reporting: Provide a simple monthly report showing ad reach, link clicks, and estimated message/phone call inquiries.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Proven Experience: 2+ years of hands-on experience running paid Facebook/Instagram ad campaigns (experience with Meta Ads Manager is required).
  • Local/Brick-and-Mortar Focus: Proven ability to target tight geographic radiuses (small towns/rural areas) to drive physical phone calls or foot traffic.
  • Excellent Communication: Ability to write clear, respectful, and compliant healthcare copy tailored to an older demographic.
  • Portfolio Requirement: Must be able to provide 1–2 brief examples or screenshots of local ad campaigns you have personally run in the past.
