Blue Bell Creameries is seeking an Electrical Engineer for the Brenham, TX manufacturing plant.

• *Bachelor's degree in electrical or industrial engineering
• *Field and practical experience (min 3 yrs) in medium-low voltage in industrial type power systems, concentrated on 277/480V and stepped-down voltage.
• *Drawing electrical schematics, CAD skills
• Adept in industrial design, installation, testing, and maintenance of electrical Main Distribution, (MDP’s) networks, motor control centers (MCCs), and PLC-based control systems.
• Strong background in troubleshooting electrical faults, commissioning equipment, and ensuring compliance with electrical codes and safety standards.
• Familiar with Load flow Analysis, Arc-flash Analysis, and Coordination Studies (ETAP)

Willing to train and work with the right individual on some of these disciplines

Skills

*Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical or industrial engineering
• Practical experience in the distribution field
• Drawing electrical schematics, CAD skills

Preferred:

• Electrical troubleshooting
• Project management
• Technical reporting
• Compliance standards
• Safety protocols

A plus:

• PLC programing / ladder logic
• HVAC/Refrigeration systems freon/ammonia
