Job Summary
We are seeking a Durable Medical Equipment (DME) Coordinator to join our team. This full-time role involves working directly with patients to fit and measure durable medical equipment, managing inventory, and processing insurance information. The ideal candidate will be highly detail-oriented, capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment, and possess prior experience in related fields.
Responsibilities
Fit and measure durable medical equipment(DME) for patients as needed.ย Manage and monitor inventory levels, including ordering supplies and equipment.ย Process patient insurance information, verify benefits, and handle required documentation,ย Collaborate with the team to ensure timely and accurate service delivery.ย Maintain a strong understanding of DME products to assist patients effectively.ย Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and relevant regulations. This position will require walking and driving.
Qualifications
Orthotic Fitter or Athletic Trainer licensure is requiredย Previous sales experience is a plus.ย Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively.ย Prior experience in a healthcare, DME, or patient care setting is required.ย Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.ย Proficiency with insurance processing and documentation is advantageous
