The Faith Academy Lady Knights have kicked off the new 2022 Volleyball Season showing much promise for the season ahead. There is new energy, a new culture, and a higher level of expectations that the Varsity Lady Knights have embraced this year.  And week one was an example of just that!

The Lady Knights took a 3-0 win over Covenant Academy on Tuesday 8/9 as they were led by sophomore middle blocker Sofia Scholten.

The Lady Knights were Host to our 12th annual varsity Summer Blowout Tournament on August 12 & 13. Through some tough competition, they fought through pool play with wins over Briarwood and St. Francis Episcopal.  They dropped two 3-set thrillers to Alpha Omega and Conroe Covenant but bounced right back in semifinals of bracket play taking a 2-0 win over Conroe Covenant (marking the first victory over Covenant in 7 years!) This landed them in the championship match to finish 2nd overall. The Lady Knights fell to the defending State Champions Fayetteville HS.

Players of the week sophomore, Sofia Scholten and senior, Chesney Johnston were instrumental in this week’s victories.
