Ennis, Texas, is gearing up for the 18th Annual Ennis Czech Music Festival, taking place on Saturday, February 15, 2025. This event, which celebrates the area’s rich Czech heritage, will be held at the historic Sokol Hall, located at 2622 E. Highway 34. The festival promises a day filled with live music, delicious food, and family-friendly activities.

 

 

The festival will open its doors at noon, with live music performances beginning at 1:00 PM and continuing until 10:30 PM. Attendees can enjoy traditional Czech polka music from top bands, including The Jodie Mikula Orchestra, Czech and Then Some, The Moravians, and the Ennis Czech Boys.

Festival-goers can also indulge in authentic Czech dishes, such as Klobase and sauerkraut, available throughout the day. For those craving a heartier meal, a fried catfish dinner will be served from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM for $15. Families will appreciate the dedicated kids’ zone, ensuring fun for all ages.
