Breitbart is reporting that the Texas prison system has implemented its Ebola emergency action plan Wednesday morning.
The directive was sent to all division leaders in the Texas prison system warning wardens and other prison official to be on the lookout for any symptoms of the deadly disease.
“We do have a defined protocol within our Infection Control Policy Manual that outlines procedures for Ebola that our health care staff would follow. We would also be required to contact the CDC and along with the State Operation Center.” The agency maintains relationships with medical health professionals in the University of Texas Medical Branch and the Texas Tech Health Science Center to make certain all protocols are properly followed and implemented.
