The Bluebonnet Master Gardeners of Austin County invite the community to a special Bonus Edition of their 2025 Spring Lunch-N-Learn series. You are invited to a disaster readiness lunch-n-learn. This informative session, “Disaster Ready – Home Prep,” is set for Tuesday, June 17, and will focus on preparing your home and family for emergencies before disaster strikes.
Whether it’s a hurricane, flood, wildfire, or another local hazard, knowing what to expect and how to respond can make all the difference. Attendees will learn how to develop a home emergency plan, prepare an emergency kit, and make smart decisions during and after a disaster.
Stephen Burnett, a Disaster Assessment & Recovery Specialist with Texas A&M AgriLife Extension brings valuable insights and experience serving Austin, Colorado, Fort Bend, Matagorda, and Wharton counties.
