The Buccaneers (42-13), winners of the Region XIV South Regional tournament, will battle Paris Junior College (38-18), the Region XIV North regional winner, with a trip to the NJCAA Division I Baseball World Series on the line. The best-of-three series begins at 6 p.m. Saturday, May 13, at Leroy Dreyer Field in Brenham, Texas. Game two takes place at 6 p.m. on Sunday, May 14, and if necessary, a decisive third game will be played at 3 p.m. on Monday, May 15.

Tickets for the super regional are available at the Leroy Dreyer Field gate. Adult passes are $10; senior citizen passes (60 and older) are $5; and college students with a student ID as well as children under the age of 12 are free.

Blinn went 3-0 in the South Regional, defeating Wharton Junior College 12-3 in the championship game to advance to the super regional. Paris went 3-0 during the North Regional and qualified for this weekend’s series with an 11-5 win over San Jacinto College-North on Sunday.

The winner of the super regional will advance to the World Series, which begins Saturday, May 27, in Grand Junction, Colo.

Blinn has competed in intercollegiate athletics since 1903 and captured 43 NJCAA national championships since 1987.
