Wallis is proud to present its annual Celebrating America’s Independence Day event, which is always held on the evening of July 3rd. This is a family event for all ages. Each year that the event has been held, it has been bigger and better – this year is no exception. The City of Wallis has hosted this event since 2015 and it draws from cities all around. Last year there were over 2,000 attendees and even more are expected this year. Music is by The EMOTIONS, with a huge fireworks show at dark – around 9:30. There are even more things for kids to do – rides, rock climbing wall, petting zoo, face painting, bounce houses, photo booth, wildlife interaction, plus giveaways, and so much more!

Food vendors will be offering Mexican, BBQ, Venezuelan, Sliders, Snow Cones, Fresh Squeezed Lemonade, Funnel Cakes, plus lots of sweets and snacks. There will also be a mobile bar for the adults.

For the first time this year, there will be Raffle Prizes. They include gift baskets of all kinds – hair care to Keurig machine w/ Yeti coffee mugs to summer hosting goodies. Other prizes include such items as Arctic Cooler, Home Goods, All Wheel Alignment, Gift Cards and so much more. The raffle tickets for these prizes are 1 for $3.00 or 2 for $5.00.
