Blinn College volleyball was able to show enough resolve to come back and sweep Navarro College 3-0 to stay alive in the Region XIV tournament hosted by Lee College Friday.

No. 14 Blinn College women’s basketball grabbed control early and cruised to a 76-46 victory over Southwestern Christian College Friday afternoon at the San Jacinto Classic.

No. 14 Blinn College women’s basketball dug itself an early hole on the road against Temple College and the Buccaneers weren’t able to get out of it in a 62-49 loss to open the season Tuesday night.

Blinn College men’s basketball got off to a sluggish start but outscored Lone Star College-Tomball by 10 in the second half to earn an 83-69 victory in the season opening game Tuesday night inside the P.E. Building.

Blinn College volleyball was unable to close out any of the three sets and Trinity Valley Community College took advantage for a 3-0 victory by the score 26-24, 25-15 and 25-23 inside the P.E. Building.
