Alyssa Hitt finally put an end to a marathon opening game as she delivered a walk-off single in the 13th inning to give Blinn a 2-1 victory over San Jacinto College-South in the opening game of a doubleheader Thursday afternoon at Hohlt Park.

Four sophomores from Blinn College volleyball coach Kalie Mader’s first recruiting class signed with four-year universities on Wednesday.

Johnny Rizer came up huge when Blinn College baseball needed it the most as Rizer blasted a walk-off solo home run to beat Galveston College 11-10 and break a five-game losing streak Saturday night at Leroy Dreyer Field.

Runs were hard to come by in both games for Blinn College softball but a huge RBI single from Alivia Villareal helped the Buccaneers beat Lamar State College – Port Arthur 2-1 in the second game of the doubleheader Friday afternoon.
