The 10th-ranked Blinn College football team has accepted a bid to play in the El Toro Bowl at Veterans Memorial Stadium in Yuma, Ariz. The Buccaneers will face No. 6 Snow (Utah) College Saturday, Dec. 2, at 2 p.m. CST.

The Blinn College men’s basketball team earned a 74-67 win over Lone Star College-Cy Fair on Wednesday night in the P.E. Building.

After one season with the Blinn Buccaneers, defensive lineman Antwuan Jackson Jr. (Ellenwood, Ga.) was named the most valuable player in the Southwest Junior College Football Conference.

The No. 11 Blinn Buccaneers fell to the No. 8 Northeastern Oklahoma A&M Norsemen, 38-34, in the Southwest Junior College Football Conference semi-final on Saturday afternoon at Red Robertson Field.
