After the closure of the 2020 Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo, the Rodeo announces the options for ticket buyers.

In the interest of public health, the City of Houston and the Houston Health Department have ordered the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo™ to close.

Winners from the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo’s 2020 Quilt Contest were announced today. More than 60 entries were received from quilters who reside in the designated 68 Area Go Texan counties and Houston-Area counties.

More than 250 barbecue teams competed at the 2020 Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo World’s Championship Bar-B-Que Contest presented by Comcast Business, Feb. 27 – 29, 2020. On Saturday night, one team was named Overall Grand Champion Team — Fayette County Go Texan.

The Grand Champion Best of Show, France’s Piper-Heidsieck Brut, Champagne, NV sold for $220,000 to buyers Katherine Cornell and Tom Pirtle, Kristina and Paul Somerville, Jennifer and Joe Van Matre, and Sheridan and John Eddie Williams.
