Austin County Fair Association Announces Jr. Fair Board Members
The Austin County Fair Association is pleased to announce the formation of a Jr. Fair Board. The Jr. Fair Board is comprised of young people between the ages of 17-20 who have previously participated in the Austin County Fair through 4H or FFA.

When Sean Speaks, A Message For Everyone On Memorial Weekend [VIDEO]
Earlier this month, we posted a Memorial Day message from the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service encouraging everyone to plan while you can and designate a sober ride. That article featured a video about Sean Carter and his journey after sustaining a traumatic brain injury as a result of a drunk driving accident. Sean and his mother, Jenny, from WhenSeanSpeaks.com took time to interview with us and share more of Sean’s story with us. They have taken their message to tens of thousands of young people to help prevent drunk driving and to make people aware of the consequences of their choices. We’re even hearing about how thousands of pigs rot in compost as the U.S. faces this meat shortage. So, how can this be? How can we be facing a meat shortage as producers are facing lower prices and having to destroy their livestock?
