The Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo officials announced 644 students who received one of the organization’s educational scholarships. These scholarships are a
portion of the Rodeo’s annual educational commitment of more than $27 million and are awarded to students across the state of Texas.

The PRIME Act would allow farmers to take their animals to “custom slaughterhouses” and then sell the meat within their state, either direct to consumer or to restaurants and retailers who in turn sell direct to consumer. This means transparent, accountable meat sources to supply our local communities.

The Austin County Fair Association is pleased to announce the formation of a Jr. Fair Board. The Jr. Fair Board is comprised of young people between the ages of 17-20 who have previously participated in the Austin County Fair through 4H or FFA.
