The Brazos Athletic Department hosted a community Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, April 8, 2023. Despite the bad and wet weather, families came out to enjoy the festivities, which were held inside Brazos High School.

The event was open to children between the ages of 1 and 10 years old. The Easter Bunny was also in attendance to take pictures with the children. In addition to the egg hunt, there were Easter crafts in the high school cafeteria, a coloring Easter eggs competition with prizes being awarded, and door prizes given away.

Originally scheduled to be held at the Brazos High School football field, the event was moved indoors due to the inclement weather. Despite this change, families still came out to enjoy the festivities.

The Brazos Athletic Department would like to extend a special thank you to all the younger Cougars and Cougarettes and their families that showed up for the Egg Hunt. Without their support, the event would not have been possible. The department would also like to thank the BISD coaches and athletes who sacrificed their time and resources to pour into the community event.

The Brazos Athletic Department is committed to fostering a sense of community within the Brazos area. Through events like this, they hope to bring families and neighbors together to celebrate holidays and make memories that will last a lifetime. They look forward to hosting more events like this in the future and hope that the community will continue to show its support.
