Garden enthusiasts, mark your calendars! The Bluebonnet Master Gardener Association (BMGA) is hosting its highly anticipated Annual Plant Sale on April 12th. The event will take place at Levine Park Pavilion, located at 406 Main Street in Sealy, beginning at 8:30 a.m. and continuing until all plants are sold.

This yearโ€™s sale offers an extensive selection of plants, ensuring there is something for every type of gardener. Shoppers can expect to find roses, “Texas Superstar” plants, “Texas Native” plants, “Earth Kind” plants, succulents, butterfly-friendly plants, ground covers, herbs, bushes, fruit and citrus trees, blueberries, blackberries, and a few surprises. In addition to plants, the sale will feature rain barrels, a variety of planters, and other garden-related items.

All plants are locally sourced, guaranteeing they are well-suited for the regionโ€™s climate. Attendees will have the opportunity to seek advice from expert Master Gardeners, who will be available to provide guidance on plant selection and care. Their extensive knowledge and passion for gardening make this an invaluable event for both novice and experienced gardeners alike.

Proceeds from the sale support BMGAโ€™s initiatives across Austin, Colorado, Fayette, and Washington counties. The funds help provide scholarships for graduating high school seniors, maintain community gardens, and offer free educational programs such as the “Lunch & Learn” series and other community outreach activities.
