The Buccaneers, ranked second in the nation by the Collegiate Valorant Hub in conjunction withย National Esports Collegiate Conference, defeated Florida Polytechnic University 2-0 in the round of 32 before topping the University of Texas-Austin 2-0 in the round of 16. With the pair of wins, Blinn moves on to face Oklahoma Christian University in the round of eight this week at 3 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 18.
“We were dominant throughout each of our games this weekend,” Blinn head coach Aaron Kapiko said.
