The Buccaneers are now 6-0 on the year and tied for first place with Boise State University for first place in the National Association of Collegiate Esports West-Central Conference. The victory also guaranteed Blinn can finish no worse than second in its conference. The Bucs take on Boise State at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 27.

“We played much better going into today’s match than we did last week, but there are still some issues that we will need to correct in order to beat Boise State,” said Blinn assistant coach Kyle Murto. “While all our players are performing well individually, we are still sometimes struggling with some communication errors, and those are getting taken advantage of by top-tier teams. However, we are still undefeated and we are looking forward to finishing out this season strongly with our final match against Boise State.”

Blinn has competed in intercollegiate athletics since 1903 and captured 42 NJCAA national championships since 1987.
