The 12th-ranked Blinn College men’s golf team placed seventh at the North Central Texas College Spring Invitational on Tuesday at Oakmont Country Club in Corinth, Texas.

The Buccaneers shot 54-over par across two rounds of play.

Blinn’s White team finished 10th.

In a field of 75 golfers, Blinn placed two inside the top 20.

Sophomore  was 1-under after the opening round, but was five strokes over par across the final 18 to finish 4-over. He took 12th place. Freshman Brody Horsak shot 5-over for 19th place.

Freshman Broc Talamantez just missed a top-20 placement with a 6-over showing for 21st.

Freshman Drake German led the Bucs’ White squad with an 11-over outing (37th place).

Up next, Blinn will compete in the two-day Eagle Invitational hosted by Texas A&M University-Texarkana beginning Monday, March 16, at the Texarkana Country Club in Texarkana, Ark
